Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in California. This role is ideal for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who is ready to lead and manage accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
• Managing the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Conducting month-end and year-end processes.
• Supervising and mentoring accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies and procedures.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Collaborating with other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintaining and improving internal controls and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounting management or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Details:

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
