I blogged on taking stock of the source of information that we receive. I for one read information from the CDC, Centers for Disease Control with caution. It is a government run organization whose purpose it to alert the public of diseases that may reach epidemic proportions.
In and of itself that is not negative. What is negative is the "mathematical" mindset behind the dissemination of alerts, cautions and "you -shoulds." Translated, you know it refers to profit motive.
If you are familiar with the book "Germs" written by reporters whose degrees are in biology or the "Ebola Virus", and many other similar works, then you know all the cloak and dagger finagling that abounds. You already know the government lies. They lie to "protect the public" from themselves.
To avoid hysteria and discord. Check. I also have a bridge I can sell you.
Statistical data is the most pernicious type of "academic" study passing itself of as a definitive statement for any kind of research. If you are not familiar with statistics, random sampling, variables and the famous "Bell Curve," that is probably a good thing. What I learned in Statistics in the school of psychology, anthropology, economics and of course biology is that any study can be skewed. That is what I learned and learned it very well.
If the Devil writes a book, as some reader commented on one of my blogs, so? the purpose of my blog was exactly that. To consider your source. When I am not familiar with a subject I keep my mouth closed. Better to be thought a fool, than to speak or write and remove all doubt. My favorite motto.
It is impossible to be an empirical observer on each and every single event that confronts us through life. That statement in and of itself, has different meanings coming from an individual who is simply parroting at a young age what appears as wisdom, and again it takes on a different meaning from someone who has lived 100 years.
The book is STING OF THE MEDICAL MOSQUITO. Should you decide to vaccinate..emphasis being on YOU. Vaccinations can be hazardous to your health by Dr.Robert S. Caires, Esq.
This book focuses on Autism. Autism has grown disproportionally, as have many other diseases. The information therein is not an argument against all vaccinations, but certain vaccinations which are being forced on children who are perfectly healthy.
In some states it is against the law if you choose as a parent not to vaccinate your children. The arguments put forth, since the author is a doctor and a lawyer, give you the parent the information to make an informed decision regarding self determination.
I am pleased as well that a medical and juris doctor didn't bother to pad the pages with famous "statistical studies" the bastion of academe. I can take any argument and "create" statistical data to support any premise. The FDA is the father of lies, and they have proven over and over again, that they will create false positives to support the pharmaceutical industry. Next blog: The book" Fast Food Nation."
Endorsements on books. Usually by the author's friends; in this case a Judge, a former Congressman and an Assemblyman. It is actually difficult to get a Judge to endorse anything, though all he said, and all he could say is that this is a good addition to the Law Library. (Sitting Judges generally do not make commentary outside the courtroom, for the obvious reason.)
To get balanced information, we would need to read from an equally academically prepared author why we should vaccinate our children, and somewhere in the discourse will be the prevailing truth. It is called critical thinking skills.
